The story you linked to is based on an NBC report which has since been changed to state that the man is still missing- both the Royer family and the PSP say that Matthew has NOT been found.

ReplyHi CJ - My idea of a developing story is that I post additional information when I get it from the police; in this case, the crash occurred four days ago. I wouldn't considered it to be abandoned story.
And, in Plymouth Whitemarsh, at least, I don't agree that developing stories like this are posted often - I can recall one breaking news story I posted that had a delayed update because I was waiting for a report, and that was in March.
