Man Cited for Public Drunkenness at Holland Shopping Center

Northampton Township Police reported the following recent activity.

A man who was spotted with his feet hanging out of a car window in the Holland Shopping Center Saturday was cited for public drunkenness. According to Northampton Township Police, someone called shortly after midnight Saturday to report that someone was sitting in a parked car with their feet dangling out the window. Police said when they responded, the man in the car, a 48-year-old Feasterville resident, was visibly intoxicated.  The man was transported home and cited for public drunkenness. In other recent police activity, a Hilltop Drive resident reported that sometime between 6 p.m. on April 7 and 1:40 p.m. on April 9, a concrete saw valued at $20 was stolen from the breezeway of his home.  A West Buttonwood Drive resident reported …

5K Diamond Ring, iPad, Wallet Stolen in Recent Thefts, Police Say

The Northampton Township Police Department said three thefts were reported last week. Stolen items include a $5,000 diamond ring, an iPad, wallet and credit cards.

Northampton Township Police received three reports of thefts last week. Two thefts were from homes, the other from an unlocked car. Two occurred on Tuesday alone. Sometime between 4:15 and 5 p.m. Tuesday, someone entered an unlocked vehicle that was parked in the lot of the Russian Mission on Second Street Pike, police said.  A laptop computer, an iPad and wallet were taken, according to police. The items have a combined estimated value of $935. A Fairhill Drive resident reported that sometime between 2:30 and 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, someone entered their home and took several pieces of jewelry and credit cards from various rooms in the home. Car Wrapped in Plastic, Firecrackers Used to Blow Up Mailbox, Police Say

Northampton Township Police reported the following recent activity: An East Elizabeth Lane resident reported that sometime between March 25 and 26, his vehicle had been egged. The vehicle sustained minor scratches and a small dent, police said. The cost of repairs was not known at the time of the report. A Silo Hill Road resident reported that at about 10:45 p.m. on March 26, someone knocked on their front door and when he checked, the door had been egged. A North Traymore Avenue resident reported that on March 26, he heard noises outside the home at about 9 p.m. The next day he discovered that several firecrackers had been used to blow up his mailbox, police said. Driver of Car With Four Flat Tires Charged with DUI

According to police, several reports were received on March 26 that someone was driving a car with four flat tires. The driver was later charged with DUI.

A man driving a car with four flat tires was charged with DUI by Northampton Township Police. According to police, several reports were received on March 26 that someone was driving a car with four flat tires eastbound on East Holland Road from Stoneyford Road at about 7:30 p.m. When officers located the vehicle, they stopped it on East Holland Road by Pepperell Drive. The driver, a 63-year-old Langhorne resident, was unable to successfully complete a series of field dexterity tests and was taken into custody on suspicion of having been driving under the influence.  He was taken to the Saint Mary Medical Center where samples of his blood were obtained for analysis before being brought to NTPD-HQ for processing. Police Warn of Computer Virus Scam

According to police, the scam involves a caller who claims to work for Windows or Microsoft and says they have detected a virus or problems with your computer.

Northampton Township Police are warning residents of a scam in which callers pretent to be Microsoft employees who can fix computer viruses. According to police, the scam involves a caller who claims to work for Windows or Microsoft and says they have detected a virus or problems with your computer. To confirm the diagnosis, they ask you to open a "Windows Event" viewer to check if it is infected. "Several error messages are listed, even though errors are common and often harmless," police explained. The caller then says the errors are of great concern and offers to refer you to a technician for a fee, police said. The technician then asks users to log on to a third-party website so they can remotely access your computer. Reckless Driver Charged with DUI, Police Say

According to police, officers received a report that someone was speeding and driving recklessly just before 1 a.m. Sunday. A Morrisville woman was later taken into custody for suspected DUI.

A Morrisville woman is being charged with DUI by Northampton Township Police after an incident Sunday. According to police, officers received a report that someone was speeding and driving recklessly on Almshouse Road just before 1 a.m. Sunday. The vehicle was located and stopped on Newtown Richboro Road by Harmony Drive.  The driver, a 55-year-old Morrisville woman, appeared intoxicated, according to police. She was unable to perform field dexterity tests, police said. Two Thefts from Unlocked Cars Reported, Police Say

Northampton Township Police reported the following recent activity: A Livery Drive resident reported that sometime between 6 p.m. March 21 and 11 a.m. March 22, someone entered his unlocked car that was parked in his driveway and stole a GPS unit valued at $600. A Johanna Drive resident reported that sometime between March 22 and 23, someone stole her purse from her unlocked car that was parked in her driveway. The purse contained her identification, $30 cash and credit cards. $100K Worth of Jewelry Missing Over Three Months, Resident Tells Police

A Drew Drive resident told Northampton Township Police that someone stole more than $100K worth of jewelry over the last three months.

Northampton Township police reported the following recent activity: A Drew Drive resident told police Tuesday that someone stole cash and jewelry from their home sometime within the past three months. Police said an undetermined amount of cash and $111,000 worth of jewelry was reported stolen. A Harriet Road resident reported Tuesday that someone smashed the window of his car sometime after 10 p.m. March 18.
