Several acts of vandalism were reported in a recent Northampton Township Police blotter, including dog feces and eggs being thrown at homes. On Saturday, Oct. 20, a resident of the unit block of Taylor's Way reported that sometime between 5:30 p.m. and 1:30 a.m. the following morning, someone had egged the family member's vehicle and threw dog feces on the front of their home. There was no permanent damage to either the vehicle or home. Around 11:20 p.m. on the same evening, a resident on the 200 block of East Heron Road reported that his home had been egged. Northampton Township Police Department released a recent police blotter that included reports of theft, burglary and vandalism.
In addition to police receiving reports of five thefts from unlocked cars during a two day period of time, a recent police blotter detailed incidents of burglary, vandalism and theft. The blotter was released by Northampton Township Police Department on Tuesday, Aug. 14, which detailed reports from Saturday, Aug. 11 through Monday, Aug. 13. Burglary – Residential – No Force Unit block of Shelbourne Road A resident reported on Saturday, Aug. 11 that sometime between 7:30 and 9:39 a.m. the previous day, two children's scooters were stolen from his open garage of a home on the unit block of Shelbourne Road. Northampton Township Police released a recent crime summary for Wednesday, July 12 through Tuesday, July 17, which included several reports of criminal mischief, vandalism, thefts and more. Theft 25 Upper Holland Road – Free Library of Northampton Township On Tuesday, July 17 the Library Director reported that sometime between Thursday, July 12 at 11 a.m. and 12 p.m. on Monday, July 16 someone removed internal components from 12 desktop computers in the computer lab. Felony charges have been filed in the Roberts Ridge Park vandalism case from May of this year.
A Northampton teen is among four people charged with a felony in conjunction with the extensive vandalism that occurred at Roberts Ridge Park in May. Newtown Township Police announced Monday they have charged the following individuals in connection with the crime: 18-year-old Max Rosen of Trumbull Court in Newtown Township, 19-year-old Colin O'Neill of Dispatch Drive in Washington Crossing, 20-year-old Jacob Grussenmeyer from Weymouth Place in Northampton Township and a 17-year-old Newtown Township juvenile. The charges include criminal mischief to a public building, disorderly conduct, criminal trespass, littering and conspiracy to commit each of these charges.
