Northampton Township announced changes to the trash collection schedule for the upcoming holidays. Pick up will be adjusted due to Christmas and New Year's Eve. Monday, Dec. 24: Christmas Eve Tuesday, Dec. 25: Christmas Day Monday, Dec. 31: New Year's Eve Tuesday Jan. 1: New Year's Day If you have questions or concerns, please call J.P. Those who normally have trash collection on Thursday and Friday will have delayed pickup due to the Thanksgiving holiday. Trash will not be collected on Thanksgiving Day, according to a message from the township. Residents who have trash collection on Thursday will have trash and recycling picked up on Friday, Nov. 23, and yard waste will be collected on Saturday, Nov. 24. This pushes back collection for the remainder of the week. Additionally, the township administration building will be closed on Thursday, Nov. 22 and Friday, Nov. 23 to observe the holiday. Offices will reopen on Monday, Nov. 26.

Yard waste and trash collections that fall on or after the Fourth of July will be collected a day late. Yard waste that is regularly scheduled to be picked up in the blue zone on Wednesday will be collected on Thursday, July 5. Trash, recyclables and one bulk item, which is usually collected on Thursday's in the green zone, will be picked up on Friday, July 6. Yard waste will be collected Saturday, July 7. If your trash is usually collected on Monday or Tuesday, your collection will not be affected. Additionally, the Township Administration building will be closed on July 4 to observe the holiday and will reopen on Thursday, July 5.
