Gas Prices Drop 20 Cents

The average price of self-serve regular gas in Bucks and Montgomery Counties dropped nearly 20 cents since last month, according to AAA’s Fuel Gauge Report. Drivers are feeling relief at the pump across the country as gas prices continue to fall approaching the busy year-end holiday travel season. Prices are down 6.4 cents since last week and 15.1 cents higher than last year. Prices have been driven lower by a number of factors, including the switch to winter-blend fuel—which is less expensive to produce—increased gasoline inventories, cheaper crude oil prices, lower demand and economic concerns.
