St. Katharine Drexel Wins B101 Christmas Choir Competition
Congratulations are in order for Saint Katharine Drexel Regional Catholic School's concert choir.
Saint Katharine Drexel's concert choir took the top prize in the B101 Christmas Choir Competition. In the K-8th category, Saint Katharine Drexel won first place with its rendition of "Angels We Have Heard on High." Since Saint Katharine Drexel got the most votes, the choir will perform live with Peter Nero and the Philly Pops at the Holiday Pops Show. Additionally, the school's music program wins a Cunningham Piano, courtesy of Cunningham Piano Company, your local Mercedes-Benz dealers and B101. Haverford Middle School's choir came in second with "Carol of the Bells" and Cold Spring Elementary came in third with "Hot Chocolate."
