According to police, a 28-year-old man said he came to the church around 7:30 p.m. Sunday for a meeting and was subsequently attacked by another man.
An alleged fistfight between two men at St. Vincent DePaul Church is under investigation by Northampton Township Police Department. According to police, a 28-year-old man said he came to the church around 7:30 p.m. Sunday for a meeting. When he arrived, another man, who police say he knew, confronted him. During the confrontation, the man said he was punched several times in the face. His injuries include a cut and bruising to his left eye and a swollen lip. Police said the other man involved, a 32-year-old, was located and interviewed by authorities. No further details were available as the incident is under investigation by police.

In its most recent blotter, Northampton Township Police Department reports thefts from 11 vehicles in two days. Sunday Dec. 9, 2012 100 block of Adams Court The complainant reported at 3:10 p.m. that she saw two men rooting through the glove box of her vehicle that was parked in the lot by her home. She last saw the suspects walking towards Independence Drive. On arrival, officers found two vehicles that had been gone through; the complainants and one other. At the time of the report it was unknown what had been taken from either vehicle. The first suspects was described as a white man, wearing a gray sweat suit and knit cap the second as a white man, wearing a baseball cap. No further description of either subject was provided. 500 …

Northampton Township Police released recent crime summaries for June 28 through July 6, which included a DUI, public drunkenness, criminal mischief and more. DUI 2nd Street Pike by Sackettsford Road On Thursday, July 5 while on patrol and traveling northbound on 2nd Street Pike approaching Sackettsford Road around 2:30 a.m., an officer saw a vehicle approaching him traveling south in the northbound lane of travel. The officer was able to stop the vehicle on 2nd Street Pike by Sackettsford Road. The vehicle was being driven by Philip Johnson, 20, of Wycombe.
