American consumers use credit cards more during the month of December than in any other calendar month. The Federal Reserve reported that last December shoppers spent over $851 billion on their credit cards. As the holiday shopping season goes into full swing, some people are maxing out their credit cards to pay for presents and others are setting budgets and sticking with them. Scour just about any Facebook stream or stop in a local coffee shop and chances are you’ll hear parents debating the merits of setting spending limits. Walmart has announced its earliest holiday sales kick-off ever—8 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day—and has revealed its Black Friday deals for 2012. Walmart, which has a location on Horizon Boulevard, says its best deals will be on electronics, tablets, TVs, gaming consoles, home appliances and toys, according to a WFMZ/CNN Money report. The country's largest retailer rolled out its Black Friday deals at 10 p.m. on Thanksgiving last year.
