We're searching for the best Halloween Costume in America. Enter yourself or your kids for a chance to win $5,000.

It doesn’t matter if you’re Lady Gaga or Lady Liberty for Halloween—if you have an awesome costume, showcase your creation in our Best Halloween Costume in America Contest. Last year, the headless boy from Wyckoff, NJ, won. This year, it could be you. Enter our contest for a chance to win the $5,000 grand prize! Adults and children are eligible to enter. Parents can post costume photos of themselves and their families from this Halloween or from years past. Top Halloween Costumes of 2012

The Dark Knight rises, but classic Halloween costumes remain the most popular.

Americans will spend nearly $3 billion on Halloween costumes this year, and the majority of them will dress as witches, vampires, princesses and other traditional outfits.   The National Retail Federation’s 2012 Top Halloween Costumes survey reports that 10 percent of children plan to dress as a princess, while six million adults plan to go as a witch.
