Local Girl Scouts to Audit Citizens Bank Park
Troop 263 could've picked something easy to complete their latest badge, but where's the fun in that?
A Junior Girls Scouts Troop from Churchville Elementary School has taken on quite a challenge for themselves to earn their next badge in the journey titled "It's Your Planet – Love it: Get Moving." The fifth graders are required to perform an energy audit of a building for their Investigative Badge, as part of their journey, or group of activities centered around one theme. Troop co-leader Catherine Tomasi said at first the girls suggested some small, local places. But after encouragement by their leaders to think in a greater area, they decided they wanted to do the Wells Fargo Center.
