DUI Charges Pending for Holland Man After Car Crash

In a recent blotter, police detailed a car crash that may result in DUI charges.

DUI charges will be filed after a 21-year-old Holland man refused a blood test after a car crash, according to a police blotter. On Wednesday, Dec. 26 at 12:38 a.m., officers responded to a single vehicle accident on Buck Road at the Railroad overpass bridge by Falcon Drive, a police report said. On arrival they found a vehicle that had struck the bridge wall and sustained disabling damage. Both the vehicle’s driver and its passenger were transported by ambulance to the Saint Mary Medical Center for treatment of their injuries.  While at the hospital, officer’s observations of the driver, a 21-year-old from Holland, led to their asking that he submit to the drawing of blood samples for analysis, which he refused. Man Found at Home After Fleeing Scene of Car Crash; DUI Charges Pending

According to a police blotter, a Southampton man crashed into a utility pole, fled the scene, abandoned the vehicle and was found at home.

Charges relating to DUI are pending after a Southampton man crashed into a utility pole, fled the scene, abandoned the vehicle in a wooded area and was found at home, police said in a recent blotter. A motorist reported witnessing a traffic crash on Chinquapin Road off of Buck Road, at 10:47 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 25, where a vehicle struck a utility pole and then fled the scene. The striking vehicle reportedly became disabled off of Bristol Road.  Officers located the vehicle with extensive damage in a wooded area on Bristol Road near Murray Road, according to the police blotter. The vehicles registered owner, a 43-year-old man from Southampton, was located at his home near where the vehicle was found. Motorist Ejected Following Second Street Pike Crash

According to reports, Northampton firefighters brought in special equipment to search for a motorist who was ejected following an early morning crash.

Northampton police, fire and emergency medical personnel responded to a serious accident in the area of Second Street Pike and Twining Road early Sunday morning. The driver of a car turning from Twinning Road onto Second Street Pike was ejected after being struck by another vehicle, Chief of Police Barry Pilla said Sunday afternoon. Initial reports from the Breaking News Network indicated firefighters were requested to light the scene and provide a thermal imaging camera to assist police in looking for the ejected motorist. Shortly after, emergency workers located the victim in a wooded area. Pilla said the victim was transported to St. Mary Medical Center. The victim's condition was not disclosed. Police Report to Two DUI-Related Incidents

On Sept. 30, police reported to two DUI-related incidents.

Police responded to two DUI-related incidents on Sunday, Sept. 30, according to a recent blotter. One incident was a car crash and the other was a disabled vehicle blocking traffic. While on patrol at 3:30 p.m., an officer came upon a two-vehicle traffic crash on 2nd Street Pike at Almshouse Road in Richboro.  Investigation found that both vehicles had been traveling north on 2nd Street Pike. One of the cars came to a stop in the left turn lane in order to turn onto Almshouse Road, and was waiting for a green traffic light, the report said. The second car, which was traveling in the straight lane, struck the rear passenger side of the stopped vehicle. Police Report to 2 DUI-Related Crashes

Police responded to two DUI-related crashes, which were detailed in a recent police blotter.

Two DUI-related crashes—one on East Holland Road by Amsterdam Drive and the other near Churchville Inn—were reported by Northampton Township Police in recent blotters. Around 10:45 p.m. on Thursday, June 28, an officer responded to a report of a struck pedestrian on East Holland Road by Amsterdam Drive. On arrival, a 17-year-old pedestrian who said he was not injured told police that while walking on East Holland Road at the curve, he saw a vehicle approaching. The vehicle then appeared to swerve and approach the grass where he was walking. The pedestrian said he tried to move out of the way but his leg was struck, according to the blotter.
