Sunday, June 19: Attempted Residential Burglary at 100 block of Edwards Drive The victim reported at 12:28 p.m. that on June 18 at 6:10 p.m. two subjects approached their open garage. One of the subjects was wearing a reddish stocking over his head, he entered the garage. The other subject stood outside. When confronted, both subjects ran across the front yard and fled in a gray or silver colored four door sedan that was parked in front of another home. There was no loss or damage. The actors were described as being white males in their 20’s, thin builds, five feet eight inches tall with short black hair. One was wearing a white t-shirt, the other a gray t-shirt. Monday, June 6: MV Theft at Unit block of Hilltop Drive The victim reported that while visiting a relative in the unit block of Hilltop Drive her niece stole her vehicle from the home's driveway around 2:00 p.m. The vehicle's LoJack anti-theft device was activated and its signal was picked up by a Philadelphia Police Department helicopter. The air unit was able to direct Philadelphia PD ground units to intercept the vehicle in the Kensington section of the city. The vehicle was stopped and its operator, Christine Bodor, 29, of Churchville, was taken into custody and charged by Philadelphia PD with Receiving Stolen Property and related offenses. Saturday, Feb. 12: Theft from Vehicle at Unit block of Chestnut Drive The victim reported that sometime overnight his unlocked vehicle was entered by unknown actor(s) who stole a GPS unit and two bottles of prescription medications. No value was given for the stolen items. Sunday, Feb. 13: Criminal Mischief at Adams Court and Independence Drive Officers, at 12:03 a.m., located a parked and unattended vehicle with its rear passenger window shattered on Adams Court by Independence Drive. The owner was contacted to check the vehicle and he found nothing missing. Suspicious Person at Hopkins Court A resident reported at 12:03 a.m. a tall male wearing a dark colored hoodie attempting to enter vehicles in the parking lot of Hopkins Court. …

Monday, Feb. 7: Criminal Mischief at Independence Drive – Tapestry Clubhouse The complainant reported finding damage to the front doors of the clubhouse. It could not be determined the value of the damage or when it occurred. Tuesday, Feb. 8: Theft at the Unit block of Jason’s Way The complainant reported the theft of a diamond engagement ring from the residence sometime between 10 p.m. on Feb. 6 and 5:30 p.m. on Feb. 7. Thursday, Jan. 27, 2011: Theft at 400 block of Marion Court The victim reported that sometime between Dec. 21 at 6:30 a.m. and Dec. 22 at 5:00 p.m. a camera and two lenses with a combined value of $1,900.00 had been taken from her home. Saturday, Jan. 29, 2011: Theft at Unit block of Matthew Circle The victim reported discovering that sometime between Jan. 25 at 5:00 p.m. and Jan. 28 at 8 p.m. three pieces of jewelry had been stolen from a bedroom in the home, possibly by a known subject. The pieces had a combined estimated value of $15,300.00. Investigation into this matter is continuing.
