Thank you for your comment and concern. Please know that the group driving the truck out to MonroeRead More is in direct contact with specific locations and people who live in Monroe and have made these specific requests. It is not an aimless effort, but addressing specific requests by the people in Monroe. These churches, schools and centers are part of the Monroe community. We ARE NOT collecting any clothing or bedding. Monroe does not have storage for any of these kinds of things and have not requested them. What we have been asked for are all consumable items that need constant replenishing . Thank you, JL

Julie, I am so glad that you addressed comments made by George. He was obviously not reading theRead More article that listed specifically what you were asking for. No one said anything about clothes or bedding. I think it is fantastic that you are doing this. It is not a waste of time at all. You have obviously done your homework!

Why didn't you include items for pets? They need medicines dog food, cat food, crates etc.

A picture is worth a thousand words and these pictures capture the elation of the crowd, the BoardRead More of Directors and, most importantly, the athletes. We wish them years of happiness and great games on this field of dreams.
