Sixty five local, regional and national breweries are confirmed for the Fourth Annual Washington Crossing Brewfest, which will be held May 3 from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. in Washington Crossing Historic Park.
The brewfest, which has sold out each year since it began, will feature beer sampling, live music and food. Proceeds from the event are used by the Friends of Washington Crossing Park to provide educational and historical programming.
Food vendors at this year’s event include: Nomad Pizza, Princeton-based artisan ice cream maker The Bent Spoon, Gabriel’s II Pizza in Washington Crossing and Colonial Farms in Washington Crossing.
Reenactors from Pennsbury Manor will demonstrate how beer was brewed by William Penn in the 17th century over an open fire.
General admission tickets are $40 (designated driver tickets are $10). Tickets are available online at www.washingtoncrossingbrewfest.com as well as Isaac Newton’s in Newtown, Continental Tavern in Yardley, Bucks Ship & Print in Yardley and the Washington Crossing Historic Park Visitor’s Center.
The brewfest will be held on the river in the upper part of Washington Crossing Historic Park, behind the Thompson Neely House and across the road from Bowman’s Wildflower Preserve.
