Whiz Kid: Jon Cohen

Name: Jonathan Cohen

Age: 18

School: Council Rock South

Accomplishment: Jon achieved his Eagle Scout status with Troop 147 by constructing a patio and walkway in the Northampton Municipal Park. The walkway is next to the playground and makes a great resting and picnicking spot for families who visit the park. He is also a black belt in Kempo and Judo. Jon plans to attend college, join the military and eventually study law enforcement.

What Jon said: “Obtaining the rank of Eagle Scout means a very great deal to me. There are lessons to be learned from scouting that will last a lifetime. I encourage scouts of all ages to continue their goals in scouting as it will serve them in all things they do."
