International Coastal Cleanup Day 2012
The Churchville Nature Center works with the Ocean Conservancy participating in International Coastal Cleanup Day 2012.
Approximately 50 volunteers turned out at the to pick up trash and litter from in and around the lake and Nature Center grounds according to Diane Sears, Coordinator of Volunteers at the Churchville Nature Center. Diane told Patch that volunteers removed approximately 400 lbs. of trash and litter for this year’s cleanup.
