University of Delaware Recognizes 2 Holland Students for Honors

Top students in the University of Delaware Honors Program—two of which are from Holland—were recognized at a special ceremony in early November.

Two Holland residents were recognized at a General Honors Award Ceremony for being distinguished students at the University of Delaware.

Jessica Applebaum and Lisa George were honored at a special ceremony at the Trabant University Center on Sunday, Nov. 4. As students at the University of Delaware, Applebaum and George earned 18 or more Honors credits during their first two years at the school, and had an overall GPA of 3.2 or higher.

They were presented with certificates by Michael Arnold, director of the Honors Program, and were congratulated on stage by their college deans or deputy deans.
