Hillcrest Elementary School Science Fair

How do magnets work?  Why will an egg float in salt water, but not in fresh water?  What makes “Pop Rocks” pop?  Join us as our students explore these questions and more at our 8th Annual Science Fair!

Hillcrest Elementary School (Council Rock) of Holland, PA will be holding its Science Fair on Wednesday, October 19, 2011 in the school gymnasium. This fair will be open for public viewing between 7:00 and 8:30 PM.

Approximately 100 students from Grades K through 6 will be showcasing their projects. This science fair is a noncompetitive fair and all students were invited to participate.

The Science Fair is an excellent opportunity for students to not only observe the practical aspects of science, but also to experiment, interpret, propose solutions and test their own scientific theories.

The public is invited to attend this fun and informative event!
