Council Rock School Board Reorganizes
The Council Rock School Board of Directors swore in newly elected members Thursday night.
Kyle McKessy and Wendi Thomas will each serve another one-year term as president and vice president, respectively, of the Council Rock School Board of Directors.
At the meeting Thursday night, five members were sworn into their positions for four-year terms including Richard Abramson, Bill Foster, Jerold Grupp, Patricia Vaccaro-Sexton and Wendi Thomas. Foster is the only new member on the board.
Board members also voted on appointments as representatives to other boards like the Middle Bucks Institute of Technology, Pennsylvania School Boards Association and the sub committees.

Thomas will serve as the head of the Academic Standards Committee, Bernadette Heenan as the head of the Facilities Committee and Robert Donnelly as the head of the Finance Committee.
They also elected Eastburn and Gray, P.C. as the solitictor for 2011-12.

Both the Council Rock South Orchestra and Vocal Ensemble performed some of the selections they will be later in December.
The next regular meeting is at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 15.
