Capacity Study Topic of Special School Board Meeting

Schrader Group Architects will be providing the findings of its Council Rock capacity study during a meeting on Sept. 30.

The Council Rock School Board has scheduled a special public meeting next week to discuss a Capacity Study that was recently done as part of the district’s capital planning process.

Schrader Group Architects will be providing the findings of the study during a meeting at 7 p.m. on Sept. 30 in the Chancellor Center.

The capacity study is aimed to give the district an objective look at its facilities and “develop a sense of capacity for our schools against what we know to be our enrollment trends,” said Superintendent Mark Klein.

The board authorized the study in April and it was conducted over the summer. To complete the study, Schrader Group met with principals, toured schools and used data from the administration, Klein said.
