Adult Students to Share Success Stories at BCCC Event

A panel of Bucks County Community College alumni will relate their experiences during a March 19 event at the Newtown campus.

Are you an adult who is considering going back to college?

Then mark your calendars for Bucks County Community College's “Inspire a Friend” event on March 19 at the Newtown campus.

The event will feature several alumni who attended BCCC as adult students who will share their experiences, according to a press release from the college. In addition, college staff will also be available to answer questions.

“For those who have been away from school for a few years or more, returning to the classroom can seem like a daunting challenge,” said Marlene Barlow, director of admissions. “This event will allow those considering college to hear from those who had success reaching new professional goals through Bucks.”

“Inspire a Friend” will be held from 6 to 7 p.m. in Founders Hall, Room 239.

The event is free, but registration is requested. Contact Admissions at 215-968-8107 or admissionsevents@bucks.edu to register.
