496 Seniors Graduate from Council Rock South

Council Rock South's class of 2012 graduated on Monday, June 11.

Though Council Rock High School South's class of 2012 ended its high school career at graduation on Monday, June 11, the vast majority of students will continue to further their education at a four-year or two-year college.

On Monday evening, 496 seniors received their diplomas. According to the Council Rock School District, 93 percent of the graduating class will go on to higher education, with 73 percent attending a four-year college, and about 20 percent attending a two-year college.

Out of the 496 graduates, 12 students were named distinguished scholars who represent the top two percent, according to information released by the school district.
