Supervisors to Continue Giant Discussion

The Board of Supervisors will meet tonight to continue discussing the use of the Davis Pontiac site.

Though last month's meeting ran only an hour and 15 minutes, the continuation of the Conditional Use Application for Addisville Commons will start tonight at 7 at .

May's meeting had no public commentary because it was mostly a . Chairman George Komelasky said once all testimony has been heard, then the public will be allowed to comment.

However, the meetings have generally been packed with concerned community members. Many people come ready to voice their opinions.

“I think anyone should be able to develop a property so long as they meet the zoning requirements,” real estate broker Marge Wiener, Richboro, said at May's meeting. “It should not be based on how many food stores there are.”

Jack Kauffman, Holland, said that meeting was the first he attended.

“I have watched, read, and talked about it and I am not in favor of the Davis site being developed as a big box food store,” he said.
