Rain, Off-Year Yields Low Turnout

Several factors affected the lower voter turnout in Northampton Township today.

For many reasons, including the weather and lack of contested races, voter turnout was low today, according to several poll workers.

According to the Bucks County website, there are several projected winners for each party for open spots in Northampton.

The township auditor position was not contested, therefore Karen Jim will be on the Republican ticket and Paul Kelly Lang, Jr. will run on the Democrat ticket.
