Northampton Days Volunteers Needed

The Northampton Days Committee is in need of volunteers for the September festival.

The township is looking for volunteers to help with the Northampton Days Festival, which will take place on Sunday, Sept. 9.

In order to make this year's festival a reality, the Northampton Days committee needs volunteers in several areas, according to the township website.

Volunteers are needed in the following areas:

Entertainment Coordinator: Will schedule performances, coordinate with committee scheduling other activities and work with existing entertainers.

Ad Booklet Chairperson: This person will collect ads, review material, layout and work with the booklet printer and help create the ad book.

Family Games Chairperson: This volunteer will schedule and manage family and group-friendly games for the festival.

Schedule Coordinator: This coordinator will verify the festival's activities and make sure everything that is scheduled is included in the ad booklet with help from the Ad Chairperson.

Publicity: The committee is seeking someone to help get radio spots, newspaper ads, poster and flyers set up for the festival. Additionally, the PR person will secure sponsors and coordinate with the website manager.

Volunteers are also needed to help with parking, working on the talent show and other general duties. Get more information on the festival's official website.

The festival held at is a day full of food, fun, entertainment and more for the whole family. It will be held rain or shine from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
