New Municipal Authority Board Member Sworn In

Michelle Held was sworn in Wednesday as the newest member of the Northampton, Bucks County, Municipal Authority.

Local resident Michelle Held was sworn in as the newest member of the Northampton, Bucks County, Municipal Authority last week.

Held was sworn in Wednesday by Judge William Benz during a Municipal Authority board meeting.

Held was appointed by the Northampton Township Board of Supervisors in January. Held has a Chemical Engineering degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and lives in Holland with her three children. 

The Municipal Authority aims to provide a dependable source of safe water for township residents. The Municipal Authority board is made up of five township residents appointed by the Board of Supervisors.
