Hurricane Sandy: Closings and Cancellations

Northampton Patch will keep you updated on school and business closings and event cancellations. Check back often.

As we learn about closings and cancellations throughout Northampton Township and the surrounding area, we will post them here for you.

Schools:

Council Rock Schools will be closed Monday, Oct. 29 and Tuesday, Oct. 30. School offices will open tomorrow for a half-day only. All facility use is cancelled for Oct. 29 and 30. On Tuesday, the school district will assess the damage and make a decision concerning the remainder of the week.
Bucks County Community College will be closed Monday and Tuesday, Oct. 28-29.
Delaware Valley College will be closed Monday and Tuesday, Oct. 28-29.

Government:

Bucks County Offices will be closed Monday, Oct. 29. Essential (24/7) personnel must report for their regular shift.
The Bucks County Courthouse and all county offices will be closed, Monday, Oct. 29.

Trash & Recycling Pick Up:

Trash, recycling and yard waste will not be collected on Tuesday, Oct. 30. Beginning Wednesday, weather conditions permitting, J. P. Mascaro will put the holiday schedule into effect where all collections for the remainder of the week will be delayed by one day.

Public Transportation:

Septa services will be suspended at the end of the day Sunday, at approximately 12:30 a.m.

Businesses:

Coyle's Richboro Music will be closed on Tuesday.
Lifestyle Med Spa will be closed on Tuesday, Oct. 30 due to no power.
Tangles Hair Salon will be closed on Tuesday, Oct. 30.
FitLife
Spa at Richboro will be closed Monday and Tuesday.
Finisher Fitness will be closed on Tuesday unless power is restored by 3 p.m. Check the gym's facebook page for updates.
Go Bananas will be closed Monday. (Open Tuesday but accepting cash only.)

Events:

All Parks & Recreation classes have been cancelled for Monday and Tuesday.
Finisher Fitness has cancelled Boot Camp regularly scheduled for Monday night.
Richboro Shop n Bag posted on its facebook page that the puppet show scheduled for Monday, Oct. 29 will be rescheduled.
