On Saturday, Sept. 29, Bucks County residents are invited to participate in the 7th Annual Pandemic Flu Drill.
The drill is an opportunity for all Bucks County residents over the age of 3 to receive a free flu vaccination. About 35,000 vaccinations were distributed during last year's drill.
Stop by one of the following locations from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday to receive a free vaccination:
Northampton Fire Company
Station #83
283 Hatboro Rd.
Churchville, Pa, 18966

Station #13
6 County Way
Levittown, Pa, 19058
Sellersville Fire Company

Individuals 18 years of age and younger must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at time of vaccination to receive a flu shot. You are not eligible for a flu shot if:
- You have an allergy to eggs
- You have had a severe reaction to a previous immunization
- You have a history of Guillan-Barre Syndrome
Additional information about the drill can be found on the county’s website here.
This is a video of the backup of traffic lines waiting to get free flu shots at the Northampton Volunteer Fire Company station on Hatboro Rd. Long waits and lines throughout the 10:00am to 1:00pm event. Many took the opportunity to get their shots and many gave up because of the long wait. Hopefully, the County will run more of these programs and at more locations. Here is a link to a video clip http://youtu.be/NYy-eKqaFCg
