Candidates File for Township Public Office

One seat up on the Board of Supervisors, one as township auditor and five on the Council Rock School Board

The deadline to file for the municipal primary election in May is a week past and the Northampton Township and Council Rock School Board have open seats.

In the township, there is one seat open on the board of supervisors. Incumbent Vincent Deon is running against Bill O'Neill, Jay Russell and Kimberly Rose. There is also a spot for township auditor for which there are two candidates: Karen Jim and Paul Kelly Lang, Jr.

There are five seats open on the Council Rock School Board. The five incumbents seeking reelection are: J. Dennis McMenamin, Patty Sexton, Richard Abramson, Wendi Thomas, and Jerold Grupp.
