Vandalism, Burglary, Theft Among NTPD Reports

Northampton Township Police Department released a recent police blotter that included reports of theft, burglary and vandalism.

In addition to police receiving reports of f, a recent police blotter detailed incidents of burglary, vandalism and theft.

The blotter was released by on Tuesday, Aug. 14, which detailed reports from Saturday, Aug. 11 through Monday, Aug. 13.

 

Burglary – Residential – No Force
Unit block of Shelbourne Road

A resident reported on Saturday, Aug. 11 that sometime between 7:30 and 9:39 a.m. the previous day, two children's scooters were stolen from his open garage of a home on the unit block of Shelbourne Road. The scooters were worth about $185 collectively.

Theft
200 block of Woodlake Drive

A homeowner reported that sometime between Aug. 3 at 12 p.m. and Aug. 12 at 11:45  a.m., his shed of his home on the 200 block of Woodlake Drive had been broken into and his lawnmower was taken. The mower was worth about $1,000.

Vandalism
100 block of West Julianna Drive

On Monday, Aug. 13, a resident reported that during the past month someone has been scratching his vehicle, which has been located at his home on the 100 block of West Julianna Drive. The owner said at first the marks were light but have gotten progressively worse and appear as though they were made with a screwdriver or similar instrument.

Theft
75 Industrial Drive – Martelli’s Steel

A representative of Martelli's Steel (located at 75 Industrial Dr.) reported that someone stole a piece of tubular steel from the rear yard of the business sometime between Aug. 11 and Aug. 12. The steel was valued at $100.
