Underage Drinking, Criminal Mischief and More Among Police Reports

Police detailed recent thefts, burglaries, reports of underage drinking and criminal mischief in a recent blotter.

A recent police blotter from Northampton Township Police included reports of burglary, theft, criminal mischief, underage drinking and more.  

Burglary – Residential – No Force
100 block of Knox Court

On Monday, Oct. 1, a woman on the 100 block of Knox Court reported that sometime between 3:40 and 4:30 p.m. hours an unknown actor entered her home via an unsecured door, while she was out of the home. The home, which is owned by the woman’s son, was found to have had various rooms ransacked. It was not known at the time of the report if anything was taken.

Theft
200 block of East Holland Road

A resident on the 200 block of East Holland Road reported finding $1,500, in cash was missing from a desk in his home. He reported the money missing on Monday, Oct. 1, but said it was last seen on Friday, Sept. 28.

Theft from Vehicle
1100 block of Hopkins Court

At 3:18 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 4, a caller reported seeing a male, dressed in black, going through vehicles and pulling on car door handles in the parking lot of Hopkins Court. The subject was reportedly seen carrying bags towards the playground area of the neighborhood. Investigation by officers led to the arrest of Raymond Mullen, 21, of Holland, who was found to be in possession of items identified as having been stolen from vehicles parked on Hopkins Court. Police recovered a multi-pack of paper towels, car cleaning cloths and a box of heavy-duty trash bags. Mullen will be charged via summons with Theft, Receiving Stolen Property and Loitering and Prowling and Night.

Attempted Theft from Vehicle
Unit block of Providence Drive

A resident of the unit block of Providence Drive reported on Friday, Oct. 5 that sometime overnight someone had gone through her vehicle, which was parked and left unlocked in her driveway. Nothing was taken.

Criminal Mischief
100 block of West Georgianna Drive

The resident of the 100 block of West Georgianna Drive reported that sometime between 9 p.m. on Oct. 5 and 5:30 a.m. on Oct. 6, someone had damaged a driveway light on her property and smashed a pumpkin on her lawn. No value was given for the light fixture.

Criminal Mischief
1200 block of Sackettsford Road

On Saturday, Oct. 6 a resident of the 1200 block of Sackettsford Road reported that her vehicle, which was parked in the driveway, had been struck by a BB sometime overnight. Damage was estimated at $200.

Underage Drinking
Unit block of South Timber Drive

While investigating another call in the area, an officer came into contact with two 17-year-old females from Holland and a 16 year-old male from Churchville who were all found to have been drinking. The three juveniles will be cited for the liquor law violation. All three teens were released to their parents.

Criminal Mischief
1200 block of Grenoble Road

A homeowner on the 1200 block of Grenoble Road reported that sometime between 11 p.m. on Oct. 6 and 9 a.m. on Oct. 7, an unknown actor had smashed three pumpkins that were placed as decorations at the end of the driveway. The pumpkins were valued at $25.
