Two Thefts from Unlocked Cars Reported, Police Say

Recent activity as reported by Northampton Township Police Department.

Northampton Township Police reported the following recent activity:

A Livery Drive resident reported that sometime between 6 p.m. March 21 and 11 a.m. March 22, someone entered his unlocked car that was parked in his driveway and stole a GPS unit valued at $600.

A Johanna Drive resident reported that sometime between March 22 and 23, someone stole her purse from her unlocked car that was parked in her driveway. The purse contained her identification, $30 cash and credit cards.

A Signal Hill Road resident reported that at approximately 1 a.m. Sunday, the rear window on her vehicle that was parked in the driveway was shattered. The value of the damage was not known at the time of the report. 

A South Timber Road resident reported Sunday that somtime over night, someone stole his mailbox that had an estimated value of $60.
