Two People Hospitalized After Motorcycle Accident
Police reported to a motorcycle accident on Railroad Drive by Richard Road.
A motorcycle accident that occurred on Railroad Drive by Richard Road landed two people in the hospital on Monday, July, according to police.
Around 11:30 p.m. Northampton Township police officers investigated a motorcycle accident where the driver of the bike, William Fletcher, 35 of Langhorne, failed to negotiate a curve in the road while traveling northbound on Railroad Drive near Richard Road. The bike struck a curb, which ejected both Fletcher and a 21-year-old female passenger off of the motorcycle, according to police reports.
Both subjects sustained injuries and were transported to the Saint Mary Medical Center for treatment by the Tri Hampton Rescue Squad.

The type of injuries sustained and the current status of Fletcher and the female passenger are unknown, as calls to the hospital were not returned at time of publish.
While being treated, samples of Fletchers' blood and urine were obtained for analysis. According to the police, charges relating to DUI are pending the results of the lab report.
