Thefts, Burglaries, Criminal Mischief and More Reported by NTPD

Read details of recent thefts, burglaries and criminal mischief in Northampton Township.

Northampton Township Police reported several thefts, burglaries and incidents of criminal mischief in recent police blotters. 

Theft
280 Middle Holland Road – Twining Village

On Friday, Sept. 21, a family member of someone who lives at 280 Middle Holland Rd. reported the theft of a ceramic figurine, VCR and several VHS tapes from the apartment sometime the day before. No value was given for the missing items.

Burglary – Commercial – Forced
84 Steamwhistle Drive – Street Solutions Automotive Repair Shop

An officer on patrol shortly after 3:30 a.m. found an open bay door at 84 Steamwhistle Dr., Street Solutions Automotive Repair Shop, on Saturday, Sept. 22. Investigation of the property also found that the office door had been open and that entry had been forced through an exterior door. The business owner was contacted and responded finding that a vehicle under repair inside the shop had been stolen along with various engine parts and a radio from the office.

Theft
Unit block of Beth Drive

The victim reported the theft of a bottle of prescription medication from his home on the unit block of Beth Drive. The theft occurred sometime between 5 and 7:45 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 22. No value was given for the medication.  

Burglary – Residential – Forced
200 block of Sunset Drive

Around 9:30 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 22, officers received a report of an alarm condition at a home in the 200 block of Sunset Drive. On arrival they found a rear door with its glass smashed out and a ladder leading to the second floor. Officers checked the home's interior and found no one inside. The homeowner arrived, checked the interior, and found nothing missing.  

Criminal Mischief to Vehicle
1025 2nd Street Pike – Richboro Shopping Plaza

On Saturday, Sept. 23, an employee in the Richboro Shopping Plaza reported that sometime between 6:45 a.m. and 1:15 p.m., while he was working, someone had keyed the driver’s side of his truck that was parked in the lot. No value was given for the damage.

Criminal Mischief
Unit block of Hickory Drive

An owner of a home on the unit block of Hickory Dr. reported on Monday, Sept. 24, that sometime overnight a neighbor’s home and his vehicle were struck by paintballs. There was no permanent damage or dollar loss.

Theft
200 block of Worthington Mill Road

On Wednesday, Sept. 19, an owner of home on the 200 block of Worthington Mill Rd. reported the theft of an old clothes dryer that was placed in her driveway while she was attempting to sell it. The theft occurred sometime after midnight on Sept. 17. The dryer had an estimated value of $200.

Theft from Vehicle
Unit block of Brandywine Court

The owner of a vehicle, that was parked on the unit block of Brandywine Court reported that sometime between 5:15 and 7:30 p.m. an unknown actor had entered his unlocked work truck that was parked in the driveway and stole $400 in cash.
