South Student's Car Vandalized, Copper Piping Stolen, Police Say

Northampton Township police also reported a Bensalem woman was charged with DUI Saturday morning.

Northampton Township Police reported the following recent activity:

A Creekside Drive resident reported Friday that sometime from March 1 to April 16, someone had entered a vacant home and stole copper piping.  No value was given for the stolen items.

A Council Rock High School South student reported Friday that his vehicle had been keyed while parked in the lower student lot sometime in the morning.  No value was given for the damage.

Around 3 a.m. Saturday, an officer on patrol observed a swerving car driving northbound on Holland Road by East Holland Road.  The officer stopped the car on Holland Road by Newtown Richboro Road and the operator identified, a 28-year-old Bensalem woman,  was unable to successfully complete a series of field dexterity tests, police said.  She was taken into custody on suspicion of having been driving while under the influence and transported to the Saint Mary Medical Center where samples of her blood were obtained for analysis.  After processing at police headquarters, she was released into the care of a friend.  Charges relating to DUI are pending the lab report.

A Misty Meadow Drive resident reported that sometime between 10 and 11 p.m. on A2200 and 2300 hours on Sunday, her mailbox was knocked off of its post.  No value was given for the mailbox.
