Public Drunkenness, Thefts and Burglaries Among Police Reports

NTPD released recent blotters that detailed reports of burglaries, thefts, public drunkenness, criminal mischief and more.

Theft
345 Newtown Richboro Road – Northampton Township Civic Center

On Friday, Aug. 31, a representative of the Northampton Township Parks and Recreation Department reported that sometime between Aug. 23 and Aug. 30 at least 10 sets of aluminum support straps from various sets of bleachers at the Civic Center fields were stolen. The same thing was found at other township fields on Saint Leonard’s Road in Holland. The total value of the thefts was not known at the time of the report.

Criminal Mischief
200 block of Lehigh Drive

A resident reported that sometime between 5 p.m. on Aug. 31 and 12 p.m. on Sept. 1, a landscaping rock had been thrown through a side window on his workshop located on the 200 block of Lehigh Drive. Damage was estimated at $500.

Attempted Theft from Vehicle
200 block of East Village Road – Signal Hill Condominiums

Shortly after 5 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 2, officers received a report of two males with flashlights attempting to enter vehicles in the parking lot of Signal Hill Condominiums.  Officers checked the area but were unable to locate the subjects.

Criminal Mischief
100 block of Rocksville Road

A resident on the 100 block of Rocksville Road reported that sometime between 10 p.m. on Sept. 1 and 9 a.m. on Sept. 2, someone broke off a mailbox from its post. The box was valued at $100.

Theft
400 block of Hatboro Road

A resident of the 400 block of Hatboro Road reported that sometime in the past 10 days an unknown actor stole approximately $5,000 worth of material from his wood working shop that was stored in an unlocked barn on his property. Nails, power tools and a belt sander were among items taken from the barn.

Vandalism
Unit block of Carriage House Drive

On Sept. 3, a property owner of a home on the unit block of Carriage House Drive reported that sometime between Aug. 27 and Sept. 3 an obscene symbol was made in her lawn by unknown actor who apparently used weed killer to draw it.

Burglary – Residential – No Force
Unit block of West Bristol Road

A homeowner on the unit block of West Bristol Road reported that sometime between 8:40 a.m. and 7:45 p.m. on Aug. 29, someone had entered his home while he was out and stole two laptop computers and an attaché case. No value was given for the stolen items.

Theft from Vehicle
Unit block of Industrial Drive

Sometime between 10:20 and 10:35 a.m., approximately $150 in cash was stolen from a tool delivery vehicle that was on the unit block of Industrial Drive.

Theft from Vehicle
100 block of Buckhorn Road

Approximately $60 was stolen from a purse in an unlocked vehicle that was parked in the driveway of a home on the 100 block of Buckhorn Road. The incident occured between 9 a.m. and 12 p.m.

Theft
Unit block of Seton Hill Court

Sometime between 10 p.m. on Aug. 29 and 3 p.m. on Aug. 30 a resident reported that watches and other various pieces of jewelry had been stolen from her home located on the unit block of Seton Hill Court. No value was given for the stolen items.

700 block of Holland Road
Theft

A resident of the 700 block of Holland Road reported that sometime between 7 a.m. on Aug. 23 and 7 a.m. on Aug. 25, someone had entered her unlocked home and stole an undetermined amount of jewelry.

Public Drunkenness
100 block of Joanne Road

Officers received a report of a subject sleeping in a car in the 100 block of Joanne Road. They located Jesse Dollar, 23, of Langhorne asleep in the driver’s seat. When Dollar was awakened his actions and physical state led to him being charged with Public Drunkenness. He was then released into the care of a family member.

Burglary – Commercial – Forced
106 Almshouse Road – Richboro Car Wash

An employee of the Richboro Car Wash reported that sometime between 7:00 p.m. on Aug. 26 and 9 a.m. on Aug. 27, someone broke into the car wash and $150 in cash was stolen.

Burglary – Residential – Forced
Unit block of Antler Drive

A resident of the unit block of Antler Drive reported that someone forced entry into her home between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Aug. 27. An undetermined amount of jewelry was stolen from the home.

Attempted Theft from Vehicle
Unit block of North Marmic Drive

On Aug. 28, a resident reported that sometime overnight someone had entered his car, which was parked in the driveway of his home on the unit block of North Marmic Drive, and gone through the interior compartments. Nothing was found to have been taken from the car.
