Police Search for Residential Burglary Suspects

Northampton Township Police are searching for two suspects involved in a residential burglary.

Northampton Township Police are searching for a man and woman who are suspected of burglary and forced entry into a Richboro home, police said.

Police Chief Barry Pilla announced that the department is looking for two suspects after a home owner reported that someone had forced entry into the home on the 300 block of Almshouse Road in Richboro on Wednesday, July 18.

The victim reported that a rear, first floor window was open and that the screen had been pulled out. Jewelry was reported missing from the home. After conducting an investigation, police found several witnesses who said they saw two suspects and a vehicle at the victim's home around 12:30 and 1 p.m. on Wednesday.

The suspects were observed walking around the victim’s property and specifically walking to the rear of the property, police said. When the male suspect saw that he was being observed by a witness, he used a cell-phone and then quickly moved to a nearby wooded area where he met up with the female suspect.

A witness reported seeing the pair flee in a charcoal gray Nissan Maxima west bound on Almshouse Road towards the Warminster area, police said.
