Police Report to Burglaries, Thefts from Vehicles and More

Police detailed recent thefts, burglaries and criminal mischief in a recent blotter.

In addition to the recent acts of vandalism reported in the township, Northampton Township Police included reports of theft from vehicle, burglary, criminal mischief and more in a police blotter released on Monday, Oct. 22.

Theft from Vehicle
100 block of Stratford Drive

On Friday, Oct. 19, a homeowner on the 100 block of Stratford Drive reported that sometime between 8:30 p.m. on Oct. 18 and 6:30 a.m. on Oct. 19 his cell phone and a GPS unit had been taken from his unlocked vehicle that was parked in the driveway. No value was given for the stolen items.

Theft from Vehicle
Unit block of Brandywine Court

A homeowner on the unit block of Brandywine Court reported that sometime between 5 p.m. on Oct. 18 and 11 a.m. on Oct. 19, his vehicle that was parked in his driveway had been entered by people he knew who then went into a bank envelope. No value was given for what was taken.

Burglary – Residential
Unit block of Heather Road

A resident of the unit block of Heather Road reported that someone had entered their home between 6:45 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 19. Approximately $150 in cash was taken from the home.

Theft from Vehicle
Unit block of Brendan Court

While investigating a vehicle in the parking lot of the Village Shires Community Center at nearly 9 p.m., an officer recovered a GPS unit. Officers were able to determine the device had been stolen from a vehicle on Brendan Court approximately three weeks earlier. The owner of the GPS was told of its recovery. Investigation into the theft is continuing. 

Criminal Mischief
Unit block of Lynford Road

On Saturday, Oct. 22, the owner of a home on the unit block of Lynford Road reported that their mailbox had been destroyed, possibly at 2 a.m. when they heard a loud noise but did not investigate. The mailbox was valued at $550.

Theft
600 block of Jacksonville Road

On Sunday, Oct. 21, a resident of a home on the 600 block of Jacksonville Road reported that sometime between 2 and 10 p.m. on Oct. 20, her iPhone was stolen from an outside table at the home. No value was given for the phone.

Theft from Vehicle
100 block of Stratford Drive

A resident of the 100 block of Stratford Drive reported that sometime between 6 p.m. on Oct. 20 and 8:30 a.m. on Oct. 21 unknown actors had entered his two unlocked vehicles. An undetermined amount of change along with an ATM card and a driver's license were taken from the vehicles was an undetermined amount of change along with an ATM card a driver’s license.
