Police Report Theft, Criminal Mischief, Attempted Burglary

A recent police blotter detailed incidents including theft, criminal mischief and attempted burglary.

released a recent crime summary for Thursday, July 26 through Saturday, July 28, which included several reports of vandalism, thefts and more.

Attempted Commercial Burglary
287 Holland Road – Holland Shell Station

An employee of the Holland Shell Service Station reported that sometime between 11 p.m. on Wednesday, July 25 and 6 a.m. on Thursday, July 26 someone cut the phone lines to the business and then attempted to pry open a side door. No entry was made.

Criminal Mischief
100 block of West Buttonwood Drive

On Saturday, July 28 a resident of the 100 block of West Buttonwood Drive reported that sometime between 8 p.m. on July 26 and 10 a.m. on July 27 his vehicle was egged, soaped and a wheel cover was damaged. He did not know who committed the act. Damage was estimated at $75.

Criminal Mischief
Unit block of Potters Place

The victim reported on Saturday, July 28 that between 9:30 p.m. and 9 a.m. that someone had scratched both quarter panels and the tailgate on his vehicle that was parked in the driveway of his home on the unit block of Potters Place. The estimated cost for repairs was not known at the time of the report.

Theft
Unit block of Tall Oaks Drive

On Saturday, July 28 two digital cameras and other items from a bedside table that are yet to be determined were stolen during an estate sale held on the unit block of Tall Oaks Drive. The cameras had a combined estimated value of $270. The other stolen items will be detailed following an inventory. Suspects were seen in the area of the table and were described as a white male in his early thirties, 5 feet 10 inches, slender build, wearing a flat brim hat, baggie white t-shirt and oversized jean shorts and a white female in her early thirties, 5 feet 5 inches, slender build, long brunette hair. The couple was seen coming to the home in a jeep with no doors. No further description was provided.
