Police Report Incidents of Underage Drinking, Thefts and Burglary

A recent police blotter detailed incidents of theft, underage drinking and burglary.

released a recent crime summary for Monday, July 30 through Thursday, August 2, which included several reports of underage drinking, thefts and more.

Theft
Unit block of Newburyport Road

On Monday, July 30, a resident of the unit block of Newburyport Road reported that while she and her husband were on vacation, her daughter who had remained home had a pool party. The party took place on July 28 between 8 and 11:30 p.m. The next morning the resident’s son found approximately $4,000 worth of jewelry, electronics and cash missing from his bedroom.

Theft from Vehicle
95 Louise Drive – Symtech Solutions

On Tuesday, July 31, a person who had parked his vehicle in the business lot of Symtech Solutions between 11:30 a.m. on July 30 and midnight on July 31, found that his car, which was left unlocked, had been entered by an unknown person who stole two personal checking account statements.

Burglary – Forced – Residential
800 block of Sackettsford Road

On Tuesday, July 31, around 7:45 p.m., officers responded to a residential alarm activation at a home in the 800 block of Sackettsford Road. On arrival, the police found that a brick had been thrown through a rear door window. The homeowner arrived at the house and reported a water jug containing change missing from a closet. The amount of money in the jug was not known at the time.

Theft
Unit block of Rohiwee Road

On Wednesday, Aug. 1, a homeowner on the unit block of Rohiwee Road reported that sometime between 5:30 p.m. on July 28 and 8 p.m. on July 30, two antiques were taken from her home. The items had a combined value of $230.

Underage Drinking
Independence Drive by Knox Court

On Wednesday, Aug. 1, police investigated a male around 11:30 a.m. on Independence Drive by Knox Court. Police were able to determine he had been drinking and had been in possession of alcoholic beverages. Timothy Riley, 18, of Holland, was cited for the liquor law violation and released into the care of a parent.

Unit block of Alderberry Court

On Thursday, Aug. 2, a resident on the unit block of Alderberry Court reported that sometime after 9 p.m. on Aug. 1 and 8:30 a.m. Aug. 2, someone had thrown patio furniture into the home's swimming pool.

Unit block of Butternut Court

On Thursday, Aug. 2, a resident of the unit block of Butternut Court reported that sometime after 7 p.m. on Aug. 1,  someone had thrown several pieces of patio furniture into the home's swimming pool.

Burglary – Residential – No Force
300 block of Bustleton Pike

On Thursday, Aug. 2, a homeowner on the 300 block of Bustleton Pike reported being out of her residence, which was left unlocked, between 11:30 a.m. and 2:40 p.m. Upon her return she found that jewelry boxes were taken. The boxes contained an undetermined amount of jewelry.
