Police Report 8 Thefts from Vehicles in Blotter

The recent police blotter included eight thefts from vehicles.

Eight thefts from vehicles—five of which took place in the same neighborhood—were listed in the recent police blotter on Thursday, Oct. 18.

100 block of Valley Drive

A resident who lives in the 100 block of Valley Drive reported that sometime after 10:30 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 14, someone entered his vehicle that was parked in the driveway and left unlocked. The suspect took $18 in cash and three debit cards from his wallet that was left in the car.

Unit block of Friesland Drive

A resident on the unit block of Friesland Drive reported that sometime between 3:45 and 9:15 a.m., someone entered his unlocked vehicle that was parked in the street in from of the residence. A hunting bow valued at $300 and $190 in cash were taken from the vehicle.

Unit block of Arbor Road

A homeowner on the unit block of Arbor Road reported that her vehicle and two other vehicles that were parked at her home were broken into between 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 16 and 5:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 17. The vehicles were left unlocked. A GPS unit valued at $250 was taken from the resident’s vehicle, but nothing of value was found missing from either of the other two vehicles.

Unit block of Devon Road

While taking a report of a theft from vehicle on Arbor Road, a resident from the unit block of Devon Road approached the officer and reported that his vehicle that was left unlocked was also entered overnight. A briefcase containing a laptop computer was taken from the car, but no value was given for the stolen item.

Unit block of Cherry Blossom Drive

A person reported that while visiting a friend’s home on Cherry Blossom Drive he parked his car in the driveway at 11 p.m. on Oct. 16 and locked it. In the morning he found the someone had gone through the vehicle and stole two GPS units. The estimated value of the devices was estimated at $410.

Unit block of Arbor Road

A resident on the unit block of Arbor Road reported that sometime between 9 p.m. on Oct. 16 and 8:00 a.m. on Oct. 17 someone entered her unlocked vehicle that was parked in the driveway. Three pairs of sunglasses valued at $30 were taken from the vehicle.

Unit block of Cherry Blossom Drive

A homeowner on the unit block of Cherry Blossom Drive reported that sometime overnight someone had entered his son’s unlocked vehicle and stole $30 in cash from a wallet that had been left in the vehicle.

253 Twining Ford Road – Richboro Care Center

A digital camera was stolen from an unlocked vehicle that was parked in the lot of the Richboro Care Center sometime on Oct. 14 while the vehicle's owner was visiting a family member. No value was given for the camera.
