  • ROCK WAY at MIDDLE HOLLAND ROAD; MIDDLE HOLLAND ROAD at HOLLAND ROAD; and ROCK WAY at NEWTOWN-RICHBORO ROAD:

When many student drivers eagerly leave the school at the end of the day they are exiting ROCK WAY on to MIDDLE HOLLAND ROAD as well as at NEWTOWN-RICHBORO RD. with more youthful enthusiasm than is necessary or safe.  The Police Department is asking these young drivers to please remember their responsibility to be compliant with the rules of the road.  We are asking ALL MOTORISTS to drive defensively and within their driving skill level.  All motorists are reminded that driving distracted is a formula for disaster; and to always buckle up their seat belt.  Police Officers will be out in the area to remind motorists of their responsibility and to ensure compliance as the school year comes to a safe conclusion.

  • EAST VILLAGE ROAD and WEST VILLAGE ROAD:

It has come to the attention of the Police Department that during the evening hours [6:00 pm to 9:00 pm] while residents are enjoying the warm weather walking along WEST VILLAGE ROAD, motorists are driving by at rather quick pace.  Motorists are asked to please drive in compliance with the posted limit; and are reminded that police patrols will be monitoring this area to attempt to reinforce that reminder.
