Police Bust Pool Party, Cite 6 Teens for Underage Drinking

Police cited six teenagers for underage drinking after receiving a tip from a resident, according to a recent police blotter.

A resident made a report to police at 10:18 p.m. on Tuesday, July 24 that a group of individuals were swimming in a pool at a home on the unit block of Matthew Circle in Richboro, according to reports. The resident told police that the owners of the home were out of town.

Officers arrived at the scene and found six juveniles in the pool. After a brief investigation, it was found that all of the juveniles had been drinking.

The four 17-year-old females, a 16-year-old male and a 17-year-old male will be cited for underage drinking for the liquor law violation, reports said.

The juveniles were released into the custody of their parents, and the property owners were informed of the incident.
