Friday, October 28: Criminal Mischief on Brown Drive

At 9:56 p.m. a resident reported seeing a group of five male juveniles smashing pumpkins that had been taken from her front porch.

DUI-Related Traffic Crash on Buck Road south of Old Bristol Road

An officer on patrol at 10:47 p.m. saw a vehicle hit the bridge wall of the underpass tunnel on Buck Road leading into Lower Southampton Township. The vehicle's operator, Nicholas Kussman, 25, of Southampton, was transported to the Saint Mary Medical Center for the treatment of injuries he sustained in the crash. While at the hospital officers were able to obtain samples of the driver’s blood for analysis. Charges relating to DUI are pending the lab report.

Saturday, October 29: Drug Take Back Program at the Northampton Township Library

From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., 109 lbs. of medications were collected at the Northampton Township Library as a part of the Drug Take Back initiative. The 109 lbs., along with 433 lbs. of medications collected since May at the drop box located in the lobby of police headquarters, were turned over to the Office of the Bucks County District Attorney. The 542 lbs. of medications, as well as other meds collected throughout the county, will be destroyed.  

 

Monday, October 31: Vandalism at the 100 block of Livery Drive

The property owner reported that sometime between 6:55 a.m. and 7:18 a.m., her truck and garage door were hit with eggs, ketchup and chocolate syrup.

Criminal Mischief on Renee Circle

The victim stated that sometime between 11 p.m. Oct. 30 and 6:15 a.m. Oct. 31, the four tires on his vehicle that was parked in front of the residence had been slashed.  No value was given for the damage.

Criminal Mischief on Spruce Drive

The complainant reported returning home at about 8:30 p.m. to find a light fixture that came from a neighbor’s property broken in his driveway. The value of the damaged fixture was estimated by the neighbor to be $50.

Theft at the 100 block of Forrest Drive

At 7:11 p.m. the resident reported a trick-or-treater had taken her entire bucket of candy from in front of her. The victim had been dressed up at her front door giving out candy with her candy bucket on a table next to her. A group of three male juveniles, in costume, came up, she told them they could each have three pieces of candy. One of the boys who was dressed as a scary goalie with a goalie mask on said, “Only three?” and grabbed the bucket and ran away. The victim and several parents in the area witnessed the theft. The actor was last seen running on Forrest Drive towards Buck Road. One of the other boys present was wearing a full body suit, peach in color and appeared to try and stop the subject but was unsuccessful. Taken were a total of nine bags of candy with an estimated value of $40. The complainant stated that as other children came to her door she told a group of girls what had happened. Each of the girls took a large handful of their own candy and filled her bucket back up.
