Saturday, March 19: DUI at Bridgetown Pike by Musket Circle

Officers received a report of a subject urinating on the side of the roadway in the 100 block of North Traymore Avenue.  The subject reportedly got into a black corvette and left the area prior to officers arrival.  The complainant was able to furnish a registration plate number from the Corvette.  At 11:04 a.m.an officer on patrol encountered the vehicle on East Heron Road traveling eastbound at 50 mph in a 25 mph zone and swerving into the opposing lane of travel.  The vehicle was stopped on Bridgetown Pike by Musket Court, its operator was identified as Daniel Walck, 47, of Holland.  Observations of Walck, along with his inability to complete a series of field dexterity tests, led to the officer taking him into custody on suspicion of having been driving while under the influence.  Walck was transported to the Saint Mary Medical Center where samples of his blood were obtained for analysis, then to the Warminster Township Police Department for processing. After processing he was taken to NTPD headquarters and released into the care of a family member.  Charges relating to DUI, as well as the earlier incident, are pending.
