Sunday, June 19: Attempted Residential Burglary at 100 block of Edwards Drive

The victim reported at 12:28 p.m. that on June 18 at 6:10 p.m. two subjects approached their open garage. One of the subjects was wearing a reddish stocking over his head, he entered the garage. The other subject stood outside. When confronted, both subjects ran across the front yard and fled in a gray or silver colored four door sedan that was parked in front of another home. There was no loss or damage. The actors were described as being white males in their 20’s, thin builds, five feet eight inches tall with short black hair.  One was wearing a white t-shirt, the other a gray t-shirt.

Monday, June 20: Criminal Mischief at 3200 block of Stockton Place

The complainant reported that sometime during the night unknown actor(s) had spray painted his headlights and front end on his vehicle that was parked in the lot in front of his residence. Damage was estimated to be between $500 and $1000.

Criminal Mischief at 500 block of Beverly Road

The complainant reported that sometime after 6:00 p.m. June 19 when she parked her vehicle in the driveway two of the tires were slashed by unknown actor(s).  Damage was estimated at $550.

DUI-Related Traffic Crash at 1200 block of 2nd Street Pike at Twining Ford Road

At 10:24 p.m. officers responded to a report of a vehicle into a home in the 1200 block of 2nd Street Pike at Twining Ford Road.  On arrival they found a pick up truck occupied by three adults and an 8-year-old child that impacted the home.  The three passengers of the vehicle were extricated from the wreckage by the Northampton Township Volunteer Fire Company and subsequently transported to the Saint Mary Medical Center.  The 8-year-old was then transferred to the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia for the treatment of his injuries.  The driver, James Simpson, 51, of Langhorne was able to extricate himself from the vehicle. Officers on scene detected an odor of alcohol on his person and he appeared to be intoxicated.  He too was transported to the Saint Mary Medical Center, treated for his injuries and released. While at the hospital officers were able to obtain samples of his blood for analysis.  Simpson was taken into custody after his release from the hospital and transported to the Middletown Township Police Department for processing and arraignment on charges relating to DUI.  The arraignment Judge, Daniel Finello of Warminster, remanded Simpson to the Bucks County Correctional Facility in lieu of $100,000 (10 percent) bail.

 

Tuesday, June 21: Theft at 171 Jacksonville Road – Spring Mill Manor

The complainant reported the theft of approximately $2,000 worth of wedding gift cards from a reception being held at the facility between 6:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. on June 18.

Theft at Unit block of Cornell Avenue

The victim reported that on three separate occasions since June 17 unknown actor(s) have stolen scrap metal valued at $820 from his yard.  A witness was able to provide a registration plate number for a suspect vehicle.  The investigation into this matter is continuing.

Criminal Mischief at 300 block of Bless Circle

The property owner reported that sometime between midnight and 6:00 a.m. their rear fence was ripped out of the ground.  Damage was estimated at $2,000.

 

Wednesday, June 22: Theft at 280 Middle Holland Road – Twining Village

The victim, a resident of the facility, reported that sometime between 5:00 p.m. June 12 and 2:00 p.m. June 13, her purse had been taken from her room.  The purse contained among other items $50 in cash.

Theft at 400 block of Saint Leonard’s Road

The property caretaker reported the theft of various items from a barn on the property. Among the items taken were a boat motor valued at $600 and $1,200 worth of tires and rims.

 

Thursday, June 23: DUI-Related Traffic Crash at Middle Holland Road at Saint Leonard’s Road

At 3:52 p.m. officers responded to a two-vehicle traffic crash at the intersection of Middle Holland Road and Saint Leonard’s Road.  On arrival they found one of the vehicles to be overturned and resting on its roof with the driver trapped.  The driver was removed from her vehicle by the Northampton Township Fire Company and Newtown Ambulance personnel. Investigation determined a vehicle driven by Joseph Slota, 71, of Langhorne, had pulled out of Saint Leonard’s Road and into the path of an eastbound vehicle.  Impact caused the eastbound vehicle to overturn.  Officers observations of Slota, along with his inability to successfully complete a series of field dexterity tests, led to his being taken into custody on suspicion of having been driving while under the influence.  He was transported to the Saint Mary Medical Center where samples of his blood were obtained for analysis.  Charges relating to DUI are pending the lab report.

DUI-Related Traffic Crash at Holland Road

At 4:41 p.m. a motorist reported a possibly intoxicated driver traveling north on Holland Road that had struck a roadside sign in the area of the Holland Elementary School.  The caller followed the vehicle to a home in the unit block of Shelbourne Road where the driver was seen exiting the vehicle and entering the home.  Officers arrived a short time later and identified the driver as Robert Williams, 59, of Richboro.  Observations of Williams led to his being taken into custody on suspicion of having been driving under the influence.  He was transported to the Saint Mary Medical Center where samples of his blood were obtained for analysis, then to the Warminster Township Police Department for processing.  Charges relating to DUI are pending the lab report.

 

Friday, June 24: Criminal Mischief at Unit block of Stardust Drive

The victim reported that sometime overnight the rear window on his vehicle that was parked in the street had been broken out.  No value was given for the damage.

Theft at 280 Middle Holland Road – Twining Village

The complainant, a resident of the facility, reported the theft of a ring valued between $3,000 and $5,000 had been stolen from her room sometime between 10:30 p.m. June 23 and 7:00 a.m. June 24.

Theft from Vehicle at 3400 block of East Gate Court

The victim reported that sometime between the evening hours of June 20 and 6:45 a.m. June 21, someone had entered her vehicle that was parked in the lot in front of her home and stolen her purse and iPod.  The purse was recovered in a nearby trash can. No value was given for the iPod.

Warrant Arrest at 50 Township Road – NTPD headquarters

This agency was made aware of an outstanding arrest warrant from the Philadelphia Police Department on Amy Jo Hrusko, 33, of Holland.  At 8:15 p.m. Hrusko arrived at NTPD headquarters and was taken into custody and turned over to officers from the Philadelphia Police Department.

 

Saturday, June 25: Theft from Vehicle at 3400 block of Norwood Place

The complainant reported that sometime between June 18 and 24,the GPS unit was stolen from his unlocked vehicle.  The device had an estimated value of $89.

 

Sunday, June 26: Disorderly Conduct at 750 2nd Street Pike – Richboro WaWa

At 2:00 a.m. Marc Pezzicara, 21, of Holland, was cited with disorderly conduct after having urinated in the parking lot of the store.

Criminal Mischief at Unit block of Auburn Drive

The victim reported that sometime between 6:00 p.m. June 25 and 3:35 p.m. June 26, someone had damaged his pool filter. Damage was estimated at $200.

Public Drunkenness at 1008 2nd Street Pike – Richboro Hess Station

An anonymous complainant reported an intoxicated subject at the service station.  Officers arrived and found Mark Yuchkovsky, 22, of Richboro.  Investigation found him to be highly intoxicated and that he had been operating a vehicle while his operating privileges were under suspension.  Yuchkovsky was cited for both offenses.  He was transported to NTPD headquarters and released to a family member.

 

Monday, June 27: DUI at 700 block of 2nd Street Pike

At 12:29 a.m. an officer observed a vehicle traveling northbound at a high rate of speed.  The officer’s attempts to stop the vehicle in the Crossroads Shopping Plaza were unsuccessful.  The vehicle did eventually pull into the parking lot of the Richboro WaWa where the operator was identified as William Ingram, 36, of Holland.  Observations of Ingram by officers, along with his inability to successfully complete a series of field dexterity tests, led to his being taken into custody on suspicion of having been driving while under the influence.  He was transported to the Saint Mary Medical Center where samples of his blood were obtained for analysis.  He was then taken to the Warminster Township Police Department for processing.  Charges relating to DUI are pending the lab report. 

DUI-Related Traffic Crash at 1600 block of Chinquapin Road

At 3:04 a.m. officers responded to a reported car fire in the 1600 block of Chinquapin Road.  On arrival they found a vehicle on its roof burning and blocking the roadway.  The vehicles operator, Thomas Warzocha, 21, of Holland was found a short distance from it.  In speaking with the operator it was found he had lost control of the vehicle struck a tree and rolled.  He was able to extricate himself from the vehicle.  The Northampton Township Volunteer Fire Company extinguished the fire and the Tri Hampton Rescue Squad transported Warzocha to the Saint Mary Medical Center for the treatment of injuries.  Samples of Warzocha’s blood were obtained for analysis.  Charges relating to DUI are pending the lab report.
