Friday, 
January 6: Criminal Mischief to Public Building at 597 Beverly Road – Holland Elementary School

A representative of the school district reported that sometime between 12 p.m. Dec. 23 and 2 p.m. Jan. 6, approximately $200 in damage was done to electrical components on the roof of the building.

Saturday, January 7: Criminal Mischief at the 100 block of Orthodox Drive

The complainant reported that sometime between 7 p.m. Jan. 6 and 3 a.m. Jan. 7, her vehicle that was parked in the street had a window smashed out. No value was given for the damage. The resident’s mailbox had also been damaged.

Theft at the 100 block of Orthodox Drive

While taking a report for criminal mischief on Orthodox Drive an officer found that another home in the block had its mailbox stolen. The homeowner was advised and valued the box at $150.

 

Sunday, January 8: Theft of Bicycle at Buck Road and East Village Road – Village Shires Shopping Center

The 14-year-old victim reported having parked his bike outside Just Wingin It and going into the store at about 4:55 p.m. When he turned around he saw a white male wearing a red sweatshirt riding off on his bike heading towards Beacon Hill Drive. No value was given for the bike.

 

Monday, January 9: Theft from Vehicle on Lehigh Drive

The complainant reported that sometime overnight someone had rummaged through her vehicle that had been left unlocked in the driveway. Taken from the vehicle was approximately $7 in change.

Criminal Mischief to Public Building at 597 Beverly Road – Holland Elementary School

The school’s principal reported that sometime over the weekend unknown actor(s) had burned one of the picnic tables on the south side of the building.  They had also chipped away at concrete on the building itself.  The dollar value of the damage was not known at the time of the report.

Attempted Residential Burglary at the 600 block of Churchville Lane

The complainant reported that two or three weeks ago unknown actor(s) had attempted to gain entry into his home via a garage window. On Jan. 9 he found someone had attempted to pry open a basement window sometime during the past two to three days.
