Local police made some arrests in today's police blotter.

Wednesday, February 29: Theft on Bonnie Road

The complainant reported that sometime between Feb. 27 and 28, a known subject stole his wife’s wedding band and a necklace. He did not however wish for police to prosecute the matter.

Mark Pruitt, 18, of Holland, was taken into custody at his residence in the 3500 block of Coventry Place on charges stemming from various acts of criminal conduct committed on Feb. 24. These acts, their locations and the related charges are as follows: Theft, Receiving Stolen Property for having taken property out of vehicles in the parking lot of the Council Rock High School South; Conspiracy, Robbery, Theft by Unlawful Taking, Receiving Stolen Property and Identity Theft for a strong arm robbery on Beverly Road; Conspiracy, Institutional Vandalism, Criminal Mischief and Disorderly Conduct for the turfing of the property at the Holland Elementary School. After being arraigned before District Judge Benz on all of the charges Pruitt was remanded to the Bucks County Correctional Facility in lieu of $50,000 (10 percent) bail for each set of charges.  Investigation into these and other related incidents is continuing.

Friday March 1: Arrest

 Thomas Obrien, 18, of Churchville, surrendered himself at police headquarters for an outstanding warrant on charges stemming from a strong armed robbery that occurred on Feb. 24 on Beverly Drive. The warrant charged Obrien with Conspiracy, Robbery, Theft by Unlawful Taking, Receiving Stolen Property and Identity Theft. While he was in custody, additional charges relating to a theft that occurred on Feb. 24 at the Richboro Taco Bell on 2nd Street Pike were also filed against him. These charges included Conspiracy, Theft by Unlawful Taking and Receiving Stolen Property. Obrien was arraigned before District Judge Benz and remanded to the Bucks County Correctional Facility in lieu of $50,000 (10 percent) bail for each set of charges. Investigation into these and other related incidents is continuing.
