Tuesday, February 21: Forced Residential Burglary on Portsmouth Court

The victim reported having left her home at about 12 p.m., returning at about 2 p.m. to find entry had been forced to the home via a ground level window.  Found to have been taken was $5,000 in cash.

The complainant reported that sometime between 9/1/2011 and 2/16/2012 unknown actor(s) stole two buckets used on his backhoe, the two had a combined value of $2,215.00.

Wednesday, February 22: Theft at 163 Railroad Drive – Omni Finishing

The victim reported that sometime between 7 p.m. Feb. 21 and 1 p.m. Feb. 22, someone stole a propane cylinder tank from the storage box located on the side of the business. The value of the tank was not known at the time of the report.

 

Thursday, February 23: Vandalism at 752 New Road – Northampton Municipal Park

While on patrol an officer found that the girl’s bathroom door had been tagged with purple marker.

 

Friday, February 24: Forced Residential Burglary on Keenan Lane

At 9:48 a.m. officers responded to a report of a residential alarm at a home in the unit block of Keenan Lane. On arrival they found the front door had been kicked in. Indications were the actor(s) had entered the home but fled when the alarm activated. Nothing was found to have been taken from the home.

Forced Residential Burglary on Fieldstone Drive

The complainant reported at 2:29 p.m. that she was on the phone with a friend of hers who lives in the unit block of Fieldstone Drive when the call was abruptly ended. She stated that during the call she could hear yelling and screaming on the other end. The complainant arrived at the home on Fieldstone about the time the call was terminated and saw a former boyfriend of her friend leaving.  In speaking with the friend, officers found that the former boyfriend had forced his way into the home and forcibly took her cell phone from her when she said she was calling the police. The suspect, identified as Aleksey Maksimov, 24, of Holland, then fled the scene in his vehicle at a high rate of speed. Officers located the subject at Parkview Drive and North Timber Road and took him in to custody. After being processed at NTPD headquarters he was arraigned before District Judge Benz on charges of Burglary, Robbery and Trespass. He was remanded to the Bucks County Correctional Facility in lieu of $35,000 (10 percent) bail.

Criminal Mischief at the 1000 block of Old Jacksonville Road

The property owner reported that sometime after 9 p.m. Feb. 23 her mailbox was smashed. Damage was estimated at $200.

Robbery at Mallard Road between Beverly and Morning Glory Roads

The 14-year-old male victim reported that at about 9:30 p.m. while he was walking home, a white male came out of the wooded area, pushed him to the ground and stole his wallet that contained $30 in cash. The actor was described as a white male, early 20s, 5-foot-10-inches to 6 feet tall, unshaven, wearing a grayish red jacket and red pajama pants. After the attack the actor ran to a silver SUV that was parked across the street and fled the area. Investigation led to the arrest of Antonino Romano, 19, of Holland, on Feb. 25 at 5:10 p.m.  Romano was found at a home in the 3500 block of Coventry Place and taken into custody without incident. He was transported to NTPD headquarters processed and arraigned before District Judge Gambardella on charges of Robbery, Theft by Unlawful Taking and Simple Assault. Romano was found to also to be currently on probation for prior offenses. He was remanded to the Bucks County Correctional Facility in lieu of $20,000 (10 percent) bail; a detainer was also lodged against him for the probation violation. Investigation into the possibility of there being other involved parties is continuing.

Theft from Vehicle at 909 2nd Street Pike – Taco Bell

At 10:36 p.m. the victim reported that he walked into the store then returned to his vehicle a short time later. He found that the car had been gone through.  Found to have been taken from the vehicle was a jacket, hat and a jar of change. A witness was able to identify a suspect. The investigation is continuing.

 

Criminal Mischief at 597 Beverly Road – Holland Elementary School

While checking the school property at 10:15 p.m. an officer found that the property had been turfed.

 

Saturday, February 25: Theft from Vehicle at the 200 block of Payne Court

The victim reported that sometime between 9 p.m. Feb. 24 and 6:45 a.m. Feb. 25, unknown actor(s) had entered his unlocked vehicle that was parked in front of the home and stole his GPS unit, ID, credit cards and some loose change.  The total value of the missing items was not known at the time of the report.

Theft from Vehicle at the 200 block of Bradley Court

The victim reported that sometime overnight his unlocked vehicle that was parked in front of the home had been entered by unknown actor(s) who then stole a GPS unit valued at $60 and a blue lunch bag of unknown value.

 

Sunday, February 26: DUI at 2nd Street Pike and Tanyard Road

An officer on patrol traveling northbound on 2nd Street Pike from Bristol Road at 1:19 a.m. observed a vehicle in front of him being driven in an erratic manner, at one point leaving the roadway. The officer was able to stop the vehicle on Tanyard Road just off of 2nd Street Pike. The operator who was identified as Arthur Green, 39, of Holland, was incapable of completing a series of field dexterity tests and was subsequently taken into custody on suspicion of having been driving while under the influence. Found in the vehicle was suspected drug paraphernalia. Green was transported to the Saint Mary Medical Center where he refused to submit to the taking of blood and/or urine samples for purposes of testing. Charges relating to DUI will be filed along with charges relating to the possession of drug paraphernalia, after the paraphernalia is analyzed.

 

Theft from Vehicle on Holly Hill Road

The victim reported that sometime between 3 p.m. Feb. 25 and 6:30 p.m. Feb. 26, unknown actor(s) had entered his unlocked vehicle that was parked in the driveway and removed his wife’s purse that was on the floor. The purse was recovered on the front lawn but was found to be missing $50 in cash and credit cards. Four dollars in loose change was also taken from the vehicle.  

Theft from Vehicle on Addis Drive

The victim reported that sometime between 12:30 p.m. Feb. 25 and 4:20 a.m. Feb. 26, gas was siphoned from his pick-up truck that was parked in the driveway. He estimated a half tank of gas, valued at $45, to have been taken.

Criminal Mischief at the 300 block of Upper Holland Road

The property owner reported that sometime overnight his mailbox had been knocked from its post. The box had an approximate value of $25.

Theft from Vehicle at the 200 block of Holly Hill Road

The complainant reported that sometime overnight all three of the vehicles parked in his driveway had been gone through by unknown actor(s); all three had been left unlocked. Taken was some loose change, a CD holder and a few CDs.

Theft from Vehicle on Drexel Drive

The complainant reported that sometime between 2 p.m. Feb. 25 and 2 p.m. Feb. 26 someone had entered his unlocked vehicle and removed a $130 GPS unit and an Apple iPhone charger valued at $30.

Attempted Residential Burglary at the 300 block of Newtown–Richboro Road

The homeowner reported that sometime between 12 p.m. Feb. 25 and 3 p.m. Feb. 26 unknown actor(s) had attempted to force entry into his detached garage. He found the garage door partially open and a smashed window.

 

Monday, February 27: Theft at 110 Industrial Drive – Blackman’s Plumbing/Heating and Cooling Supply

While checking the commercial property at 12:12 a.m. an officer found that a gate leading into a fenced enclosure at the rear of the building had been forced open possibly by a large vehicle. A representative of the business arrived and verified the gate had indeed been forced open but nothing appeared to have been taken.
