Saturday, Feb. 12: 

Theft from Vehicle at Unit block of Chestnut Drive

The victim reported that sometime overnight his unlocked vehicle was entered by unknown actor(s) who stole a GPS unit and two bottles of prescription medications.  No value was given for the stolen items.

Sunday, Feb. 13: 

Criminal Mischief at Adams Court and Independence Drive

Officers, at 12:03 a.m., located a parked and unattended vehicle with its rear passenger window shattered on Adams Court by Independence Drive.  The owner was contacted to check the vehicle and he found nothing missing.

Suspicious Person at Hopkins Court

A resident reported at 12:03 a.m. a tall male wearing a dark colored hoodie attempting to enter vehicles in the parking lot of Hopkins Court.  Patrols checked the area and were not able to locate the subject.

Forced Residential Burglary at 200 block of Holland Road

The complainant reported that while lying in bed at 3:49 a.m. he heard a ground level door to the property open and then footsteps inside.  When the complainant went to investigate he heard things crashing and glass breaking.  Nothing from the property was found to be missing.  A rear window to the property was broken. 

Forced Commercial Burglary at 200 Buck Road – Holland Lawn Mower

At 3:27 a.m. officers responded to a reported burglary at 200 Buck Road, Holland Lawn Mower.  On arrival they met with the business owner who reported arriving at the business and finding his dog acting strange and then noises coming from the rear of the shop.  When he checked the exterior of the building he saw a subject wearing dark colored clothing running through the rear of his fenced yard, he then climbed an oil tank in order to jump the fence.  Officers checked the area but were unable to locate the subject.  Entry to the building was found to have been made when the actor broke a ground level window on the shop.  Nothing was found to have been taken from the business.

Forced Commercial Burglary at 2286 Chinquapin Road – JFR Automotive Supply

Officers, while checking neighboring business due to the burglary at Holland Lawn Mower, found JFR Automotive to have been forcibly entered through a ground level door.  Found to have been taken from the business were two, non functional, WWII replica rifles, the value of which was not known at the time of the report.

Monday, Feb. 14:

Non-forced Residential Burglary at Unit block of Hidden Cove Drive

At 4:18 p.m. officers received a report of a burglary that had occurred on Hidden Cover Drive.  Upon their arrival they found that a school aged child of the home had returned home at about 3:35 p.m. and heard voices upstairs in the house.  The child then notified one of his parents and was told to go to a neighboring home. The child left the house and proceeded next door where he waited in the driveway. Shortly after getting to the drive he heard the front door on his home slam and saw three subjects run down the driveway and then towards Churchville Lane. All three subjects were reportedly wearing hoodies with the hood up. No further description of the actors could be provided. A check of the homes interior found nothing to be missing. No signs of forced entry could be found on the home.
